For a fair few years Five Boys Clothing has been on my list of independent brands to go to for clothing and gifts. Run by two busy Mums, Taffeta and Sophia, their collections are carefully thought out and are curated to provide pieces which are designed to last rather than as throwaway fashion (something we all seem to be starting to take more seriously).

KIDS CLOTHING WITH AN ENVIRONMENTAL MESSAGE | FIVE BOYS CLOTHING
Before Christmas, Harry and Teddy were writing their Father Christmas letters when Harry decided he wanted to take something off the list. When I asked him why, he said it was because it was made out of plastic and he didn’t want it ending up in the ocean. I have to say my heart burst with pride at the (slightly precocious!) observation and I felt so proud that at the age of seven he was thinking about the consequences to certain actions. I was telling the ladies of Five Boys Clothing this story and from it they kindly sent Harry their “Ocean Invader” tee.
Along with the tee Harry received a lovely card encouraging him to keep up the good work along with some facts about jellyfish (Harry loves a fact!).
At Five Boys Clothing they have a range of T-shirts each designed to highlight the plight of an animal in an informative and fun way which you can browse here (Harry is wearing the Cheetah design below). Made from organic cotton, the T-shirts are super soft and wash brilliantly without the colours fading…some of Harry’s have been passed onto Teddy and, teamed with a tutu and wellies I can see Hettie benefitting from them too!
You can see the T-shirt collection from Five Boys Clothing here as well as their other items…I can highly recommend their Brikkon toys!
